In November, the company relocated to its present
premises and formed a new company, Impress Colour. Whilst Colourscript
continued with its established film business, Impress Colour set about
establishing itself in the print business, gleaning experienced,
dedicated staff from the Sydney printing industry.
March 2001 saw delivery of a Komori Lithrone 28
five colour press and Colourscript, being an established Agfa house,
upgraded its software to Agfa's Apogee PDF workflow, feeding a high
resolution proofer and the Galileo CTP plate maker.
The press was commissioned in May 2001, with a
small MBO folder being added later that year.
